I recently finished a book entitled "The Anthropology of Turquoise" by Naturalist Ellen Melloy, and got this idea from her where you might be able to 'keep' water with you, or even wear it, even if it were just mere sentiment, like in a ring or through the saturated tones of a particular stone. I felt the shadowbox style inherently carries this concept well, and so I've made you a ring where your 'River' can always be found. This particular one in a flashy Labradorite that is reminiscent of deep pools in shady places.
OOAK for August 2023. Set in Fine and Sterling Silver, in a traditional 'shadowbox' ring, with a thinner 'crazy-8' style ring band 3mm wide.
Ring fits size 6.75-7. Measures 5/8" long and just over 1/2" at her widest. My signature coin is on the backplate. Ring band has line pattern in stamps and is very comfortable. This is the smallest of the rings in this series, with a thinner band.
