I sorta planted this garden in my front yard in spurts over the years we've lived in town (which is now TWELVE YEARS?!) and I have had the pleasure of planting this place with my mom in many different trips she's come to visit. I've also transplanted LOTS of stuff from the original gardens here, or dug stuff up from neighboring friends houses, or planted things in seed-scatter in the Fall. Years of not knowing what would survive the snow, or the deer, or the birch tree overhanging has left a lot of guessing as to who is who, and takes me a minute to remember what went where, especially since I'm constantly moving things around to give them the best spots for their *ahem* personalities! And with older gardens, things get too big. Or die. Or get choked out. Or became salad dinners for the town deer that roam our yard regularly. But the funniest thing this year came to my attention just a few days ago, when I had come home from a trip away, and was sitting on the front porch drinking an awesome cup of coffee, admiring my garden toils after a very wet and sunny June, and so many years of trying really hard to get stuff to grow. Deer be damned.
Everything. Is. Purple!
OOAK for Summer 2023! Adjustable from 16" to 18" and is very comfortable to wear alone or as a layered piece! Lepidolite is a lovely and slightly iridescent stone in plummy gemmy purples, and is great for catching all that electromagnetic pollution around us. It's also said to help those of us who need balance regularly, and with a small lithium content, are especially helpful stones when challenged with bipolar tendencies and/or social anxieties.
