A pair of magical little purple danglers, in an ode to Mountain Bog Gentian (Gentiana Calycosa) which happens to be one of my favorite high alpine flowers I’ve found high in the Pintlers of Montana, the Arctic circle of Alaska, and Iceland’s backcountry, to name a few. They love soggy cracks in high altitude mountains, and tend to look a lot like fairies in cobalt dresses.
OOAK for Late Summer 2024. Post-style earrings measure just over 2" from tip to tail. Purple stones are cut by Merlin, a lovely pair of Imperial Jaspers. I've pierced a little drawing out of two sheets of silver freehand with my jewelers saw as mirrored pairs of each other.
