Rose Cut Montana Sapphires! Mined right here in Montana from the Rock Creek Deposit just west of Philipsburg, cut in the PNW, and set at this bench in Montana. USA made baby!
I am setting these in 14k Gold Fill, minimal posts, with 14k Gold Fill Earnuts. Please allow some variations in stones i.e. color, clarity, height. I will match each Sapphire as a pair for you as best I can, but please allow some small variation. This particular set of sapphires I think are more gray-teal than green.
Gold Fill is an excellent alloy I have worked with for many years now. I've found it to be surprisingly durable and wearable, a great color match to 14k solid gold, and all at an affordable price point! This alloy is not to be confused with gold plating, which is total junk. 14k Gold FILL is a thick 14k solid gold layer on top of a brass core on all sides, and will not scratch off like plating always does. Plating is a microscopic dusting of gold over cruddy base-metal, and I never EVER use it.
14k Gold FILL is an excellent choice for folks with metal allergies, doesn't turn your skin green, and I always use 14k gold fill ear nuts, for an all-around quality (and hypoallergenic!) set of stud earrings!
