Returns & Exchange
What are your policies on returns and re-sizing?
Returns:
Returns are accepted and refunded fully for 2 reasons, no questions asked:
It was broken when it arrived OR It is not the item requested.
Due to the nature of handmade jewelry, returns based on color, tint, finish, etc. are not accepted. A lot of my work is meant to look rustic, rough, even well-worn. I use heavy patinas, heavily-hammer my silver, and set quality artisan-cut stones. Stone irregularity is not considered a flaw. Computer screen color-variations are not considered flaws. Exceptions to all of this are made based on circumstances.
I wholeheartedly stand by my work i.e. concept, construction, stone-setting, finishing, packaging and shipping of every item that leaves my studio. It is an absolute pleasure to be a full-time metalsmith and I thank you for that. I am a very hardworking artist with a friendly temperament....just ASK and I am sure we can work pretty much anything out : ) I don't bite.
ALL custom work is not returnable and not refundable. Custom work is very time intensive both in design and construction. Please understand this is a common policy in the world of visual art.
Exchanges:
I offer exchanges for stack rings only, for sizing issues only. It can be difficult to decide which size is best without a proper ring sizer, so If you can ship them to me in the original packaging within one week of purchase, I am happy to send you a different size. Shipping costs incurred is your responsibility.
For all other purchases, I do not offer exchanges unless arranged with permission. Thank you for your understanding.
***AS IS WORK*** is something I sometimes offer, when things go sideways in the studio but I still feel like the piece could be yours, for a discount. This kind of work is rare, and includes things like stones that may have cracked or discolored during setting, dropped on the way out of the studio, a slightly marred or scratched silver finish that can't be reworked, or a crooked setting not noticed until photography. These are just a few examples, but handmade jewelry can run the gamut of funky quirks and mistakes. This 'AS IS' work will ALWAYS be clearly labeled as such in the listing, and is offered at a lower price than it would usually retail for, due to the flaws or defects detailed in the listing, and this piece IS FINAL SALE. I only offer this when I feel like the mistake on my part may not bother you, the customer, and is still a quality item to offer. Obviously this is a judgement call on my part, and on yours. I hope you trust me in saying that I offer only products I stand behind, but you are purchasing a flawed piece that may need love in the future, including glue or a complete re-work, and you will be paying for any extra work in the future this piece may need.
