Wildflower Woman Necklaces: Spring Edition! This series of necklaces started last year as a little ditty I wrote about freedom, like a wildflower, but these.....are a little more inspired this time of year by the melt of snow from the longest winter EVER. I feel so much beckoning to me in Spring: Terra-cotta pots ready for pansies, onion seedlings ready for freshly turned garden beds, and mud season in all her wild moods! Bring on the growing season, and off you go winter...like...buhbye!
Each necklace is comprised of 6-7 strands of antique beads strung together in a medley much akin to the chaos of springtime in Montana. Matte Poppy Jasper, lots of African trade beads, splashes of crazy color. All charms are handmade in my studio, some with just a few simple punches for lines and dots. My signature is on the backside of this flower pendant, and entire piece is gathered with sterling bead caps and chain. Necklace hangs with adjustments from 17-19" long.
THIS PARTICULAR NECKLACE! Is sooooo fun! In pink rhodochrosite, loots of crazy African trade beads in muted blues, hot periwinkle, pops of Orange and lemon-lime. All dangle about around the center strand of Matte Jasper, that reminds me so much of Terra Cotta!
OOAK for Springtime 2024!
