March gets Aquamarine, which I think is very fitting. The birthstone of the month, and also, just her personality. The sheer variety of LOOKS of Aquamarine. The tones. The color. The...moodiness? The siren of Spring...oh...March! DEFINITELY!
Aquamarine, besides being the diva birthstone for March, is quite literally aqua marinus, or water of the sea. Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck. It was also considered a stone of eternal youth and happiness, and protects best all who travel by, over, or near water.
OOAK for Spring Equinox 2026, this strand is just a STUNNER. I have had this specimen in my drawers for years, just waiting for the right update to show her face, and with the Equinox, I couldn't resist! Strand measures 19" with clasp in all. Handmade 'Fishermans hook' clasp as nod to the Aqua Marinus, and maybe...the mermaids who wear it. I've spaced most of the larger beads with a baby Sterling bead to create better movement and longevity. This is a SHOWSTOPPER FOLKS. One for a QUEEN!
