Montana Sapphires, finally! Sourced from the Rock Creek drainage in Philipsburg, MT and rose-cut in Vancouver, WA by a family company I am absolutely psyched to be working with. This piece is mined, sourced, cut, and set in the USA. I could not be more proud!
THIS PARTICULAR SAPPHIRE IS AS PICTURED, a sweet teal-blue 4mm Montana Sapphire, set in 14k Gold Fill. These little rose-cuts are hung from 14k gold fill chains at either 16" or 18". Kim wears hers here at 16".

Gold Fill is an excellent alloy I have worked with for many years now. I've found it to be surprisingly durable and wearable, a great color match to 14k solid gold, hypo-allergenic, and all at an affordable price point! This alloy is not to be confused with gold plating, which is total junk. 14k Gold FILL is a thick 14k solid gold layer on top of a brass core on all sides, and will not scratch off like plating always does. Plating is a microscopic dusting of gold over cruddy base-metal, and I never EVER use it.
